09/06/2007 - Detroit, MI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Detroit Tigers pitcher Kenny Rogers was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list Wednesday and started the club's 2-1 victory in 11 innings over the Chicago White Sox.
Rogers went five innings and gave up one run on two hits while striking out six and walking two in the no decision.
The 42-year-old lefty had been on the shelf since July 26th with left elbow inflammation.
He missed the first half of the season after undergoing surgery in March to remove a blood clot from his left shoulder and did not make his season debut until June 22nd.
Rogers won 17 games for the Tigers last year and helped the team to the World Series.
